Our Founder
Matthew began his career as a corporate lawyer specialising in M&A and technology transactions. He later joined a prominent global law firm leading in tech and venture, focusing on emerging companies and venture capital.
With extensive expertise, Matthew has collaborated closely with institutional investors, venture capitalists, and startups predominantly in the life sciences and technology realms. He has offered comprehensive support to companies and their founder teams across every phase of a company's growth cycle.
Having contributed to over 100 financing transactions of varying scopes, Matthew's involvement spans from initiating companies' fundraising journeys to mentoring and coaching founder teams in securing their initial term sheets. He adeptly negotiates deal terms and executes transactions for parties on both sides of the deal.
Matthew's guidance extends beyond initial stages, steering companies through successive financing rounds from Series A to D and beyond, culminating in high-value trade/strategic sales and IPOs.
